How does Intuition help with homework?
Intuition is built on one idea: you learn more from getting there yourself than from reading the answer. So it reveals only as much help as you need.
| Stage | What you get |
|---|---|
| Intuition | The central idea behind the question, in plain language, with no answer |
| Hint 1 | A conceptual direction |
| Hint 2 | A concrete strategy and a small scaffold to start from |
| Hint 3 | The steps, in order |
| Hint 4 | The key step made explicit, plus the mistakes people usually make |
| Hint 5 | The strongest hint short of the solution |
At any stage, press I got it when you can finish on your own, Give me more help for the next hint, or Show answer for the complete worked solution.
What can I give it?
- A typed or pasted question, up to 30,000 characters.
- A whole worksheet or assignment. Nibit lists every question, up to 60, and you work through them one at a time.
- Files: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, text, Markdown, or images, up to four at once. For a PDF longer than ten pages, you pick the pages to read.
- A photo or screenshot, pasted straight in.
Graphs and diagrams on a worksheet are read too, and shown under the question they belong to.
Can I ask my own question along the way?
Yes. Before the next hint, type something specific, "Why are we using this formula?", and press Ask with next hint. The next stage answers your question as well as moving you on.
Does it handle maths and code?
Yes. Explanations use proper mathematical notation, rendered as equations, and code is shown with syntax highlighting. It works for any subject; maths, code, graphs and figures get special handling.
What happens when I'm done?
- Save to notebook files the whole session, the question, the intuition, every hint, your follow-up questions and the answer, as a page in your notes. Nibit suggests where it belongs.
- Chat about this opens Ask Nibit with the session attached, for anything you still want to dig into.
- Intuition history keeps every session and assignment, so you can continue or review it later. Hints you've already unlocked are saved, and reopening them is free.
How much does it cost?
| Free | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Intuition stages | Part of 5 questions and quick assists a week | Unlimited |
| Price | $0 | $12 a month or $85 a year |
On the free plan, starting a question and each hint, follow-up or answer reveal uses one of the five weekly questions, which are shared with Ask Nibit. Free limits reset every Monday. Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax, except in the EU, where Pro is $15 a month or $105 a year including VAT. The full plans table is on the home page.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't mark your working. You can paste your attempt as a follow-up question, but there's no check-my-answer grading.
- It doesn't read from your notebook. Give it the question directly; it doesn't pick problems from your existing pages.
- The free plan goes quickly. Each stage uses one of five weekly questions, so a full walkthrough is most of a week's allowance.
- It needs a connection. Every stage calls a model.
Questions people ask
Is this cheating?
Intuition is designed to make you do the thinking. It starts with the idea rather than the answer, and only gets more specific when you ask. Whether you can use AI help on a given assignment is up to your course, so check its rules.
Will it just give me the answer if I want it?
Yes. Show answer is available at every stage, and gives a complete worked solution.
Are my questions used to train AI?
No. Nothing you put in Nibit or send through its AI features is used to train Nibit's or OpenAI's models. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Where do I find it?
